Biography

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :

  •     B.Mus from Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyalaya, Lucknow.
  •     MS Office, Window7.
  •     Completed 6 months Basic Multi Media Course from West Bengal Youth computer centre.

ACHIEVEMENTS :

  •     Achieved 1st position in solo light music competition held at Dehradun in All India basis, 2002.
  •     Awarded Best Singer in All Assam Semi Classical & Classical Music held at Sivasagar.
  •     Secured First Class First position (Gold Medalist) in Musicology from Rabindra Bharati University, 2013.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE :

  • For 1 year, I worked as a Guest Lecturer in the Dept. of Musicology in Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata
  • For 7 and half years, I worked as an Assistant Professor in Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Centre for  Studies in Performing Arts, Dibrugarh University

1. Presented a paper titled, "Authenticity and Cultural Identity: Folklore", organised by Dept.of Musicology, Rabindra Bharati University, in collaboration with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies and Muktabudha, held on 5th -6th November, 2015.

2. Presented a paper titled, " Music: As a tool for expressing Emotions and as a Means of Communication", on Application of Abstract Music in Different Aspects, held on 7th -8th March, 2018.
