Majuli University of Culture marked a significant milestone on 1st June, 2026, as it stepped into the 9th year of its glorious journey. To commemorate the occasion of the University’s Foundation Day, a special lecture programme was organized at the University. The keynote address was delivered virtually by Dr. Hitesh Deka, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of Nagaon University. In his address, Dr. Deka highlighted the importance of higher education institutions in preserving and promoting cultural heritage while encouraging academic excellence and innovation. The programme was attended by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor and Registrar of Majuli University of Culture, along with faculty members, officers, staff, students, and research scholars. The participants observed the occasion with enthusiasm and reflected on the achievements of the University since its establishment.
