Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has officially inaugurated the new Academic Building and Girls’ Hostel at Majuli University of Culture. ​ With an investment of nearly ₹51 crore, these state-of-the-art facilities include: ​Academic Block: Space for 1,880 students with modern, tech-enabled classrooms. ​Girls' Hostel: Safe, premium accommodation for 178 students. ​ As the University prepares to introduce Arts and Science streams, it is well on its way to becoming a premier institution that celebrates and strengthens Assam’s rich cultural and academic heritage.
